Sue Hessel has worked with individuals and couples for forty years. She qualified in 1980, initially as a social worker, and has worked as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor since 1990.

Sue has a wealth of experience working with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, relationship and other emotional difficulties. Alongside her current private practice she worked at Highgate Counselling Centre for many years, both as a counsellor for individuals and as part of its couples and families teams. She was Course Director of its Certificate in Counselling Skills course for several years, and her specialisms include attachment, separation, loss and bereavement.
